When someone needs your help, you'll receive a notification from Be My Eyes on your device. The notification is sent to several volunteers at the same time to ensure fast connection for the blind or low-vision user. The first volunteer to answer the request and open the notification will be connected to the caller. Please note that how you answer the notification may vary depending on phone model and system version.
Answering a call from locked screen
Your device will light up as a notification from Be My Eyes appears. Swipe right (iOS) or tap the notification (Android) to answer it. Please note that if your phone requires a password, fingerprint or Face ID to unlock, you'll need to enter it before being able to open Be My Eyes.
Answering a call from unlocked screen
The Be My Eyes notification will appear at the top of your screen. Simply tap the notification to answer the Be My Eyes call.
