The mobile app makes it easy to pick up calls from anywhere. We recommend using the mobile app if you are not always at your desk during your organization's opening hours.
Download & Login
Download the Be My Eyes app on your device from App Store or Google Play. Once downloaded, open the app and select "Sign in". Login using your agent username and password. On the homepage of the app, you can see if your organization is open for calls, as well as how many calls your organization has received and answered.
Answering Calls
When a call comes in on your mobile device, it will either appear as a notification or as a full screen incoming call, depending on whether your device is unlocked or locked. By answering the call, you'll get connected to the caller, and have access to their camera from your screen.
While on the call, you have three buttons which you can click at the bottom of the screen. On the left, there is a microphone icon which allows you to mute yourself during a call. In the center is the end call button, which you can use when your call is over. On the right, there is a "torch" button which can be used to turn on the users smartphone flashlight. This can be used if the users location is dark, or if you need additional light to effectively provide assistance. The torch will turn off automatically when the calls ends.
Call Rating
After completing a call, remember to give it a rating. You can either rate it bad or good, and for bad calls remember to provide notes on why it was a bad call. This is important for quality assurance. If the call was bad, you can flag it for ‘poor quality’ or ‘inappropriate behavior’, which will help us to improve our service.
