Workplace Connect routes your call to a trained company agent who can see your screen — not a public volunteer.
Make a screen-sharing call
1. To begin a screen sharing call, select a Group from the Screen sharing list
2. Select "Share screen"
3. Wait for the call to be answered
4. When the call connects, you can begin speaking immediately. The responder can also request to remotely control your screen. Accept by selecting "Allow" when prompted.
5. The responder can now control your screen.
You can still manipulate your own screen.
Use the shortcut ctrl + alt + r to end remote control at any time.
6. End the call at any time by selecting "End call"
Choosing a group
A Group is the trusted colleagues or support team you call for screen-sharing help — calling a group is how you start a Workplace Connect session. In the Groups tab, press Tab to reach the list, use the arrow keys to move between groups, and Space / Enter to select one.
