Workplace AI is Be My Eyes’ AI assistant for work tasks — reading documents, navigating forms, describing screens, and answering work-specific questions.
Workplace AI is part of Be My Eyes Workplace. If you don’t see it in your app, check with your admin.
What Workplace AI can do
- Read and summarize documents, PDFs, and Word files
- Describe charts, graphs, and data tables
- Identify and fill in form fields
- Navigate screen layouts and UI elements
- Answer questions about content you capture
There are five Workplace AI quick functions available. They are accessible as buttons or via keyboard commands:

ctrl+alt+s) - Takes a screenshot of your current screen and describes it. Note: The Be My Eyes Workplace app will hide itself before taking the screenshot.PDF (
ctrl+alt+p) - Select a PDF from your files and Workplace AI will summarize it and enable you to prompt with follow-up questions.Image (
ctrl+alt+i) - Upload an image from your files and Workplace AI will describe it. Supported image types:.png,.jpg,.gifClipboard (
ctrl+alt+c) - Workplace AI will describe the current image in your clipboard.Take picture (
ctrl+alt+w) - Will take a picture with your webcam and describe it. If you are logged into the same Be My Eyes account on your mobile device, you may also select your phone camera as a source.

3. Workplace AI will describe the image in text and voiceover. Follow up with additional images or prompts.
Keeping and sharing a conversation
You can save a conversation to your history or share it with a link. See Keeping and Sharing Your Be My AI Conversations.
Tips for best results
- For long documents, ask specific questions rather than “describe everything.”
- If a form has many fields, ask “what fields does this form have?” first, then ask about specific fields.
- Use Screenshot when working with software that doesn’t allow you to export or save a file.
