On June 1, 2026, some Be My Eyes users experienced difficulties connecting calls, and agents using the Be My Eyes web client were temporarily unable to access the site. The issue affected service between approximately 4:38 PM and 5:15 PM CEST (2:38 PM–3:15 PM UTC).
Timeline:
• 4:38 PM CEST — Issue began; call connection delays of up to 60 seconds reported
• 4:42 PM CEST — Engineers identified the cause and began working on a fix
• 5:11 PM CEST — Fix applied; service began recovering
• 5:15 PM CEST — Service fully restored
What we did:
Engineers identified and resolved a database performance issue that was causing call routing to slow down and the web client to become intermittently unavailable. We have created a follow-up task to prevent this class of issue from recurring.
